Sean F. O'Brien is the founding partner of O'Brien Wealth Management, LLC, and has over 29 years of financial planning experience. He is responsible for overseeing the financial planning for clients of the firm. Sean concentrates on portfolio management and retirement planning.
Sean is a graduate of Mount Saint Mary's University in Emmitsburg, Maryland. Sean entered the financial services industry in 1992 as an associate with Meeker Sharkey Financial Services, Cranford, New Jersey. Sean holds the distinguished CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation, having completed extensive training and adhering to rigorous ethical standards. He attained his CFP® certification in 2001.
He is very active in several community organizations including Lunch Break; a local food bank, and The Church of the Nativity, Fair Haven, NJ. Sean currently sits on the Board of Trustees at Christian Brothers Academy, Lincroft, NJ, and provides counsel for CBA's Endowment and Scholarship Portfolios. Sean and his wife have three adult children and reside in Red Bank, New Jersey.
